In 2000, Samsung Heavy Industries organized a committee named "inTEC"(Interior Technologies & Engineering Committee for Passenger Ships) with 14 leading Korean interior suppliers.
inTEC has been conducting research and development on high comfort and luxurious interior of passenger ships.
inTEC members have also created strategic alliances with European interior suppliers and design firms.
